We will establish a relationship of inferiority between Maceio and Rio de Janeiro. To indicate inferiority use: less + adjective + that

Pedro: La ciudad de Maceió es menos conocida que la ciudad de Río de Janeiro.
The city of Maceio is less known than the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Julio: Las playas de Maceió son menos limpias que las playas de Río de Janeiro.
Maceió beaches are less clean than the beaches of Rio de Janeiro.

Pedro: La gente de Río de Janeiro es menos acogedora que la de Maceió.
The people of Rio de Janeiro are less welcoming than Maceió.
