The neuter lo before an adjective is useful in
many expressions. It is often the equivalent of an English adjective + "thing."

lo + adjective

Lo bueno es que no tengo que sufrir.
The good thing is that I don't have to suffer.

Lo malo es que siempre salen modas nuevas!
The bad part is that there are always new fashions!

Lo importante es que tú me llamaste.
What is important is that you called me.

Millones de personas se dedican a lo fácil.
Millions of people are dedicated to things that are easy.

Lo bonito de la vida es tener un objetivo.
What is beautiful about life is to have a goal.
