Evaluation from egjohnson:
This school treats students very well. They organize trips and cultural events and they provide you with a really good teacher.
Evaluation from movingtoindia:
I stayed at Minerva for three weeks. I was not dissatisfied because I developed a good personal relationship with my teacher and my host family. The school does not pay enough to its teachers, resulting in many unmotivated teachers, or families, resulting in them cramping another individual to their small house to get by. I cannot compare my situation with others since I did not request to change my teacher or family. Some students from the US requested to change the teachers during their stay. I was lucky to have a good teacher and family. During the last week of my stay, however, the school asked me to change my teacher I really liked because they had a big of group of students coming from the US. I was forced to take afternoon classes and was unable to attend afternoon events for that week. The school does not have any materials. Even the teachers have to buy their own textbooks out of pocket and the school does not even reimburse them. Bring your textbooks! The lessons are not structured at all. Make sure that you structure your own lessons and ask what you need. Worst thing is that the school is apparently making lots of money without reciprocating its teachers and families. The owner should invest the profit in the school facilities including class rooms, teaching materials and its staff.
