Overview

Con means with. It is a very common preposition that has no meaning of its own; it only shows relationship between words.

Yo nado con un pez.
      I swim with a fish.

Trabajo con los caballos.
      I work with horses.

¿Quieres ir al partido de fútbol con nosotros?
     Do you want to go to the soccer game with us?

Yo quiero ir al partido de fútbol con ellos.
      I want to go to the soccer game with them.

frijoles con cerdo
      beans with pork (pork and beans)
